ROB j's 90-10 plan

What is the 90-10 plan? I'm glad you asked...The plan follows a simple rule of eating health leanner choices 90% of the time. But allows for treats in portion contol 10% of the time. For exsample, have you ever heard of a plan where you can have ice cream, cake, or even a fried foods occasionally? Add in 3-4 days of exercises but not the same daily routine. The body reacts better when your movements during exercising is different each sections. I enjoy Zumba, and Kick boxing with 30-40 minutes of walking 3 days a week. Then 2 days of light weight lifting weekly for muscle tone/building.

To date I have loss over a110 plus pounds and counting. I still have more to go, but I finially came up with a plan that is working. I don't feel hungry, or denied. Stay tuned for more 90-10 updates....Join in on this BLOG and learn more ways to battle body fat!

It's been 6 days since I posted an update to this BLOG. I weighed in today and was so surprised. I was worrying that maybe I had stopped loosing weight. Mainly because I had been getting on the scale daily...I should know better. With the exercise I have been doing I am building muscle which also stops and add weight. But hold on...It also becomes a big fat buster. As I was saying at the beginning of this post I was surprised today when I stood on the scale. In fact I had to get on 10 times to do double taked to make sure it was real. I lost 13 pounds in 6 days! That is now a total of 123 pounds gone! 90-10 life style is working. Eating healthy with lean meats, and veggies 90% of the time and a portion size not so healthy choice 10% of the the time. Zumba class, kick boxing for 1 hour 3 nights a week, 1 hour walks 3 nights a week, light weight lifting for 30 minutes 2 nights a week. You have to find the time for yourself. Make "you" a priority!

Made it through today...Breakfast was a turkey sausage on muffin with a egg white and cheesse. Lunch was brocolli, wild rice, baked chicken breast, dinner turkey coney hot dogs and fat free chips. Walked for 45 minutes, Zumba class with weights for 1 hour ans 15 minutes. Take a small set towards the 90-10 plan. Start with one fully healthy meal a day for one week then move to two healthy meals a day. After that Start the 90- 10 rule of 90% healthy and 10% treat. But the treat must be a portion size for one. After the 3rd week you should be ready for 30 minutes of walking 3 days a week...and light weight tone lifting 2 days a week for 30 minutes...You can do this!

I think I'm going to jump on this and go for it. Got a couple of health issues going on but i'll build on the exercise and get some zumba classes in there I think zumba is great. Most people that are over weight just need to exercise more, because having alot to do by getting in the car to do it is NOT exercise. So I want to keep it movin and thats what I'm gonna do.
